We are a third-generation Bavarian family company, steeped in tradition. Experience indulgence and quality, first-hand. At our facilities, we have been producing a variety of yoghurt, dessert and cheese specialities for over 90 years. These products are available in numerous countries around the world. With a net turnover of 935 million EUR and 898 million litres of processed milk in 2020 and about 2,800 employees at present, Zott is amongst the leading dairies in Europe. Our passion is for our brands, for milk and indulgence. Innovation, quality, partnerships with milk producers and the sustainable production of our products are all key values for us.
Milk is our most important raw material and represents the basis for our branded and quality products. We feel a commitment to our consumers and society to ensure safety and responsibility in the value chain. And this starts at the farms of our milk suppliers who reliably supply us with the contractually agreed quantities of milk at a very high quality every day. In 2013, we initiated an internationally viable and expandable quality and sustainability programme which is directed specifically at the Zott milk suppliers: “ZQL – Zott Qualitätsmilch aus Leidenschaft” (Zott quality milk as a matter of passion). It focuses on the health of the animals and on the sustainable production of milk and successfully reconciles animal welfare and profitability. With the presentation of the “Goldene Milchkanne” (Golden Milk Jug), we publicly honour the outstanding performance of our milk producers with relation to milk.
